GERES (France), in collaboration with the Ceylon Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (CCWE) and its partner organizations, conducted an insightful and engaging workshop on 'Environmental Capitalization.' The session was facilitated by Ms. Elham Aghakhani from GERES.
Civil Society Organization (CSO) partners from across Sri Lanka participated in the workshop, which aimed to strengthen their understanding of how to practically integrate environmental considerations into community-based and women's entrepreneurship programs. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and the sharing of experiences, participants explored ways to make their projects more environmentally responsible, sustainable, and impactful. Additionally, the workshop provided an opportunity for 'AKASA' officers to gain new insights into working with communities of persons with disabilities in the context of various climate-related challenges.
