In a harmonious collaboration, members of the AKASA Youth Association and the AKASA Parents Association are coming together to ignite the spirit of Vesak through a series of creative endeavors. On the 12th and 19th of May 2024, these two vibrant groups will be crafting exquisite Vesak lanterns, not just as a celebration of the festival but also as a means to raise funds for their association.
AKASA Youth and Parents Association leverages the traditional art of lantern-making to raise funds for their noble cause. These meticulously crafted lanterns embody the essence of Vesak and will illuminate not only homes but also hearts.
All proceeds from the Vesak Lanterns fundraiser will go towards empowering the association and fostering the values of unity and compassion. By sponsoring this initiative, patrons not only participate in Vesak lanterns but also contribute to meaningful change in their society.
